With the recent adoption of our son, we ask that you bless his birth parents. To please give them hope in a bright future that is filled with abundant blessings. Please give them peace of mind that our son is in a loving home, and comfort and grace for choosing life over abortion. I ask for strength for our birth mother as she has not informed the birth father of her pregnancy or of her decision to choose adoption. I ask that he comes with an open mind, respects her discision and is understanding and is corruptive with her decision. I ask that they have a positive relationship with our family.

Please pray for my dear friend Christine who is battling a stage four glioblastoma brain tumor. The tumor has been removed and now she will start chemo and radiation. She is an amazingly strong Christian and continues to have a positive outlook on her treatment. Please pray for her healing and for her family to feel the love of Christ through this process.

My son Joey is a Medic in the Army. He is struggling with anxiety, frustration, and depression. He is having a very difficult time coping with his unit the MP\'s. They have yet to deploy but will in Novemeber. He is someone who needs to be busy and utilized to his fullest and at this point he is sitting around waiting.... Please ask the Lord to give him peace and wisdom to know and accept that he is right where God wants him to be. Pray that Joey would learn to give it all to the Lord and RELAX and find JOY in the little things. Please Please he is on the edge and I do not know how to help. Sincerely in Christ, Carol

As my nephew continues his journey with brain cancer, your prayers are appreciated.
Hello darkness my old friend... Journal entry by Ron Clanton — 4/5/2017 (my nephew)
Hello darkness, my old friend I\'ve come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence
But what I know is who controls darkness...and who created the light...
“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.” Psalm 107:13-16
I love you and I am ready for this battle. Ron
Thank you for praying as he now begins radiation and high doses of chemo.

I shared with you over 16 months ago that my nephew was being treated for a brain tumor. The results and expected time to live was 3 months and with a miracle 1 year. This is today's result...we appreciate your prayers for Ron, his wife, sons, and my sister.
Ron: From my MRI this morning, & after 3 months on the trial, my brain tumor is continuing to grow faster than the trial meds are able to kill it. So I'm stepping out of the trial.
Dr recommended I start on 2 big meds that are used for GBM, which is evidently considered aggressive by others. My response was that while I appreciated her analysis, I wanted to be sure that she is being as aggressive as possible. She accepted the challenge and then agreed to add 2 more meds and a round of radiation to stop the immediate growth while the meds take effect.
Now for the insurance dance to try and get funds. And figuring out the impact on work. And the impact on my head. And on y'all.
Know that I'm not sad or mad. Told Sandy a moment ago that part of me wishes I could react scared but my brain focuses on what's next; all so that I'm here tomorrow and next week and next month and next year and to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 24 years.
I love you and am ready for the battle.

Please pray for an upcoming move to Tennessee at the end of June. My husband is being transferred there for his job. We will be leaving family and friends. Pray that God settles my heart and that I trust God has a plan. Please pray that God leads us where he wants us. That he would find a home for us. That he would open up a job for me to work part time in education. That we would find a new church family. That my daughter would find positive peer influences. That she would do well with the transition to a new school and home. That God would lead my husband in his new role.

Once again we ask your prayers for our 11 year-old Grandson, Nathan. His most recent heart procedure and follow-up tests show that he will need another procedure in the next couple of weeks to go in and stretch his heart valve. Please pray for his healing and that this procedure will give him more time to grow and for his heart to grow before he needs another valve. He loves the Lord and has amazing faith.

My prayer request is for my Uncle (just turned 73), named Paul. He lives an isolated life. He does not know the Lord and is not doing well physically. I am in his life (in-person and by phone) to share God's love and kindness through actions. I will see him again early December for our holiday breakfast. He has had a number of strokes, has Parkinson's, is on poverty level income. He is not homeless, however. He had another mini stroke this year. I told him I would put him on the Prayer Chain (again) so that others (including myself) would join together in unity to lift him up to our Lord and ask for Healing in his body, Purpose for living, and freedom from physical and emotional pain (that has increased dramatically this past week). I also personally ask that God would use me to point him to Jesus and that Jesus would close the deal this year (or, before it's too late, in God's time). I would ask that we pray for Paul to have a seekers heart to want to examine the evidence that has been provided to him, something he can do through the tools of DVDs. Also, that he'd be freed from the lies from the enemy. Thanks!

My prayer request is for my niece Sonia. I have asked for prayer before and she was doing better; however just tonight she ended up in the hospital again having terrible seizures. My sister is there with her! she is having such difficult time. She has 2 daughters 15 and 6 and it is so hard on these kids. Please pray for God's almighty healing Hand - that He touches the doctors hearts to be able to come to the bottom of this and they can give her the right medication for these seizures. She suffers of diabetes and is going through dialysis on top of everything else. Pray that my sister has the endurance and energy to care for her. She watches over her other daughters 3 little kids and now her ill daughter and her 15 and 6 year old. Thank you and May God bless.

My friend from childhood has had a very rough couple of years. She got a concussion 3 years ago that has continued to cause daily pain, strain, and physical and emotional pain for her. She has 3 children and a loving husband that would love to see her back to herself. She loves God and tries to have a positive outlook as much as possible. On top of all of this, she just found out that her doctors found cancer in two places. She is beginning the process of fighting cancer while her body is already weakened. Please pray for God to give her comfort and to help this family that loves him so much. She and her family will need all the prayers, strength, healing and love they can get right now.

I have 3 beautiful teenage daughters. Unfortunately my girls do not have a relationship with God and therefore are allowing the "world" to influence their choices and ways. Needless to say, they are making horrible, scary, ungodly,& poor desicions. Please pray for them that they will open that door to their heart and let God in so that they will make choices that would be pleasing to Him. Also, I feel so so lost in all this and feel as though I am failing as a parent, please pray for me and my husband to be the parents God would have us be and set rules and examples that are girls would see as "the way to be". Thank you all in advance for your prayers.

Please pray for me as well, that I can continue to trust God. I am facing a lot of work challenges. Please pray for our Grandson, Nathan (11 years old). He has had three open-heart surgeries, the last in Nov. 2015. His new valve is not functioning properly so they need to go back in and attempt to stretch the valve. This procedure will be done in the cath-lab at CHOC on Feb 15th and they will go up from the groin into the heart. This is good because they won't have to open his chest and he will probably come home the next day, maybe even the same day. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and that this procedure will be successful and repair the valve function so he doesn't have to have another open-heart surgery for another 5-6 years.

Please pray for continual guidance from God on our family moving out of state, many factors involved from myself coming back to work here periodically to keep health insurance to otherwise finding a new career that will take me out of the stressful business I\'ve been in over 20 years (it has taken it\'s toll.) Thank You
